Two Wildcats Earn MCAC Player of the Week
Two NDSCS football players earned MCAC Player of the Week.
Spencer Skeesick (Fr.), a placekicker from Moses Lake, WA, has earned the Special Teams Player of the Week honor for his role in a 45-15 Wildcat win on Sunday over rival Dakota College-Bottineau.
Skeesick didn't miss a kick in the first-round victory, going a perfect 5-for-5 on PAT's, and hitting two field goals on two attempts for NDSCS. His field goals included a 23 yard effort at the end of the first half, sending his team into the locker room on a score. On kickoffs, Skeesick hit eight kicks for a total of 465 yards, including two touchbacks on the day.
Kingston Myles (So.), a running back from St. Paul, MN and Tartan High School, has earned Offensive Player of the Week for his work in a 45-15 win for NDSCS over DCB on Sunday.
On just 12 carries, Myles picked up 119 yards rushing against the Jacks defense. Myles averaged 9.9 yards a carry, with a longest run of 45 yards and one touchdown.
With the win, NDSCS advances to the MCAC Semi-Finals, where they will take on Central Lakes College in Brainerd, MN this Sunday, November 4 at 1:30 pm.
