NDSCS defeated both Williston State and Dakota College in convincing fashion Sunday and Monday.
On Sunday, the Wildcats hosted Williston State. The Cats put together a complete game offensively and defensively on their way to a 90-64 victory. Six players scored in double figures for NDSCS, led by Noble Cooper and Duoth Gach with 16 and 15 points, respectively. Jordan Polynice was one rebound short of a double double, finishing with 10 points and nine rebounds. Damien Gordon scored 14 points in 14 minutes of play, shooting 5/7 from the field. The Wildcats shot 50% from the field and tallied 24 assists for the game.
On Monday night, the Wildcats defeated Dakota College 100-61. The Wildcat offense was uber efficient as they shot 53% from the field and 52% from beyond the arc. They also dished out 24 assists to just six turnovers, their best assist to turnover ratio of the season. Noble Cooper and Duoth Gach led the scoring attack for NDSCS, scoring 20 and 19 points, respectively. Mohamed Kone had seven assists to zero turnovers. Damien Gordon led the Cats on the glass with eight rebounds.
