The NJCAA All-American team is composed of the 50 best players in junior college basketball as selected by the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee, broken down to first-team, second-team, third-team and honorable mention.
The selection gives NDSCS its 33rd All-American in program history. Since 2011, NDSCS has received 11 All-American selections.
Broadway – the Region XIII Player of the Year – averaged 14.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists. He also shot 53 percent from the field and 73 percent from the free throw line, guiding NDSCS to a 16-7 record, as well as Region XIII and Mon-Dak Conference runner-up finishes.
He's the seventh Wildcat in the last nine seasons under Stu Engen to win conference and region Player of the Year. Broadway was at his best down the stretch, averaging 20 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists over his final seven games.
During the 2019-20 season, Broadway was a second-team All-Region XIII selection. The 6-foot-1 guard from Minneapolis has already signed to return to the Cats for the 2021-22 season.
