The NDSCS men's basketball team won at least a share of Mon-Dak conference Championship on Monday, in a close win over DCB by a 86-77 final score. With the win, the Wildcats earn the right to host the conference tournement (March 2 and 3).
The Wildcats tournament draw will be decided Februry 28.
NDSCS continues its incredible 2023-24 season, which was already one of the best in program history. The Wildcats' record now stands at 27-1 and adds another banner to its resume.
Tonight's game was led by a herculean effort from Kaleb Larson, who scored 21 points on a red hot 3-of-6 shooting from 3-point land. Detavius Frierson tallied 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting and eight assists, Peyton Newbern added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists and Calvin Sisk Chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds.
Wildcats are back for last regular season home game vs. Williston State on Thursday (2/22).
