Bio

North Dakota State College of Science announced the hiring of Darryl Fletcher to its men’s basketball staff on August of 2023. Prior to coming to NDSCS Darryl was at Moberly Area CC. During his time at Moberly, Coach Fletcher helped the hounds to a 30-4 record, a region 16 championship, as well as District championship and a National Tournament appearance. He helped coach and recruit 4 Division 1 signees.

Before that (his 2nd) he was an assistant at Iowa Lakes CC, where he helped the Lakers to a 21-10 record and 4 Lakers named to All-Region Team’s and 1 NJCAA All-American. In his first season at Iowa Lakes he helped them to a 21-8 record, a Region XI Tournament Championship, NJCAA National Tournament 3rd place finish, and 5 Lakers being named to All-Region Team’s and 1 NJCAA All-American.

Prior to that, he was at La Salette Academy, where he was an Athletic Director/Assistant Basketball Coach under NJCAA Hall of Famer John Spezia. Before that, Fletcher was the Assistant Varsity Coach at Allatoona and Discovery High school in Georgia, where he helped led the team to state championship games. Fletcher has also served as the Coach for AC Georgia AAU program which, has had several Division 1 and 2 players.

 Darryl was born in Chicago, IL but spent most of his life in Georgia. He is a graduate of Shorter University (BBA) and Georgia State University
