Demi Uffelman Named NJCAA Pitcher of the Week
Sophomore pitcher Demi Uffelman was named the NJCAA Pitcher of the Week for March 29-April 4 following a pair of dominant performances. Uffelman, a Hardin, MT native, made two starts in three total appearances, totaling 14 innings. Over that span she allowed just three runs, scattering 10 hits and striking out 15. That included a shutout of rival Lake Region State. At the plate she went 3-for-10 with a double and three RBI. On the season, Uffelman has won four straight decisions with two of those including double-digit strikeouts. Uffelman has signed with D2 Western New Mexico to continue her career.
