NDSCS Softball Ranked No. 9 in Final National Poll; Start Region Tournament Thursday
North Dakota State College of Science softball is ranked ninth nationally in the NJCAA Division Three National Softball Poll entering the Region XIII Tournament in Cambridge, MN.
North Dakota State College of Science softball is ranked ninth nationally in the NJCAA Division Three National Softball Poll entering the Region XIII Tournament in Cambridge, MN.
NDSCS is the 2-seed in the region tournament.
The Wildcats have been ranked in all six regular season polls this season, ascending as high as No. 7 nationally. Fellow Region XIII members St. Cloud, Dakota College at Bottineau and Anoka-Ramsey have also been ranked at different points this season.
NDSCS is 27-21, riding a 10-game winning streak into Thursday matchup with St. Cloud Tech. The winner will advance to play the winner of Anoka-Ramsey vs. Minnesota West in the double-elimination event.
The last team standing will be crowned the Region XIII Champion and advance to the NJCAA National Tournament in Syracuse, NY on May 27-29.
Corning, Rock Valley, Rowan College, Herkimer College and Joliet College round out the top-5. Corning and Herkimer, as well as Owens CC, have already punched their ticket to the national tournament.

High seed will be the home team in Games 1 and 2. Coin flip in games 3-7.
