Three Wildcats Earn 2021 All-Mon-Dak Softball Honors

North Dakota State College of Science sophomores Sydney Schott and Demi Uffelman, as well as freshman Billie Donohue, were named to the All-Conference team as announced by the league earlier this week.
Schott, a pitcher from Gaylord, Minnesota, went 13-10 this season with a 4.95 ERA and 154 strikeouts in 127.1 innings pitched. At the plate, she hit .384 with four home runs, nine doubles and 19 RBI.
Uffelman, a pitcher from Hardin, Montana and D2 New Mexico Highlands signee, went 8-11 on the season with one save, 114 strikeouts and a 4.31 ERA in 125 innings. At the dish she batted .353 with four home runs, six doubles and 23 RBI.
Donohue, a corner infielder from Andover, Minnesota, had an explosive season at the plate. She finished second nationally in home runs (13), 21st in batting average (.518) and 23rd in RBI (33). She recorded 14 multi-hit games and three multi-HR games, including three bombs against Bismarck State on May 1st in a 3-for-3 performance.
NDSCS finished third in the league at 15-8, putting them ahead of D2 programs like Bismarck State, Lake Region and Williston State.
The Wildcats will wrap up the regular season with a four-game set against Minnesota-Morris. The Region XIII Tournament will begin on May 15 vs. Bottineau.
