Sophomores Khari Broadway and Zaraya March have been named the Mon-Dak Conference Players of the Week following yet another string of dominant performances.
Broadway, a Minneapolis native, led the Cats to a pair of wins over United Tribes and Bismarck State, averaging 24.5 points (19-28 FG) and 6.5 assists. Broadway scored a season-high 25 points against Bismarck State, his fourth 20-point performance of the season. He is averaging 22 PPG over his last four contests.
It is Broadway's first honor of the season.
March, a St. Paul native, continues to stuff every box score. In leading NDSCS to a 2-1 record, March averaged 12.7 points, 13.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 3.3 steals. The 5-foot-7 guard grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds against Bismarck State and was one assist shy of her second triple-double of the season against Lake Region State. She currently leads the nation in steals and is fourth in assists and total rebounds.
It is the second time March has received a Player of the Week honor.
