Kowcun, March Named First-Team All-Mon-Dak Conference

North Dakota State College of Science guards Ambah Kowcun and Zaraya March were recognized for their outstanding seasons by being named to the All-Mon-Dak Conference team announced on Tuesday morning.
Kowcun finished second in the league and fourth in the NJCAA in scoring, averaging 23.2 points. Her 95 3-point FG leads the nation, 20 more than any other player in NJCAA Division One. Kowcun, who also averaged 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals, had 11 20-point games and six additional 30-point games, reaching double figures in every game this season.
March – a 5-foot-7 sophomore point guard – led the entire conference in rebounding (12.1), assists (6) and steals (4.5). She finished the season with 13 double-doubles and an 18-12-10 triple-double against Bismarck State. March currently ranks top-10 in steals (1st), rebounds (3rd) and assists (4th). She also averaged 14.3 points per game.
The Wildcats finished their first season under Adam Jacobson at 14-9.
