Wildcats Go 3-1 on ND/MT Road Trip
Wildcats now 20-5 on the season
The NDSCS Womens's Basketball team moves to 20-5 on the season after a tough loss to Williston and beating DCB, Miles, and Dawson all on the road.
The final score against Williston State College was 71-62 in favor of the Tetons.
The Wildcats were led in scoring by Tiffany Ikwunere with 12 points along with that Savanna Jones posted 10 points and Michelle Arens contributed 10 boards on the night.
The Tetons were led in scoring by Taylor Moffat with 18 points.
The final score against Dawson was 76-34 in favor of the Cats.
The Wildcats then traveled to Dakota College of Bottineau (DCB) to face off against the Lady Jacks. The final score of this contest was 71-62 in favor of the Wildcats.
The cats had 4 players in double figures, led by Michelle Arens with 18 points and 5 rebounds, Arianna Berryhill had 17 points wwhile going 4-9 behind the arc, Shania Nichols-Vannett had another double double (her 6th on the year) with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Savanna Jones rounds out the double figure wildcats with 13 points and 7 rebounds.
DCB was led by Hanna Plumbtree with 18 points.
Game 3 of the 4 game road trip had the Cats traveling to Miles Community College where the cats would get theri secon win in a row beating Miles 94-82.
The Cats Jordan Toman put on a shooting clinic with 21 points going 7-10 from the field and 4-6 from three. Other wildcats in double figures were Shania Nichols-Vannett, Michelle Arens, and Savanna Jones.
Miles was led in scoring by Becky Melcher with 20 points.
The final game of the road trip was against Dawson Community College, the cats took the win 66-46 moving to 3-0 on the season against the Bucaneers.
The cats were led by Savanna Jones 22 ponts and 13 rebounds, Arianna Berryhill and Shania Nichols-Vannett were also in double figures scoring for the cats. The wildcat defense kept the entire Dawson team out of double digit scoring. The cats defense was led by Savanna Jones 4 blocks and Mckena Koolmo 4 steals.
Dawson was led by McKenzi Peterson with 9 points.
