NDSCS Volleyball continued its dominant start to the season with its sixth straight sweep, this time routing Williston State 3-0 (25-9, 25-17, 25-17) at Ed Werre Arena.
The win was more of the same for the Wildcats, with smothering defense leading to points.
Sophomores Kaitlyn Emmil and Ally Gruber each recorded three blocks and three assists. Classmate Katie Krieger led with 10 digs and Kortney Carney dished out 23 assists. Eight different Wildcats tallied at least one kill, led by freshman Bailee Brommenschenkel’s seven kills.
NDSCS has now won 12 straight and 69 of its last 75 home matches. The Cats will have a busy week with five matches and eight days, three of which are on the road.
