NDSCS Overcomes Early Deficit to Top Fond du Lac in Season Opener

Adversity engulfed the first half of North Dakota State College of Science’s season-opener against MCAC foe Fond du Lac. After falling into a 14-point deficit, the Wildcats then watched as 13-year old Gabe Issendorf, the son of NDSCS Head Coach Eric Issendorf, was carted off the field and taken away in an ambulance following a sideline collision. But, NDSCS proved its resilience. Scoring 38 of the game’s final 52 points, the Wildcats erased a two-touchdown deficit behind a furious fourth quarter rally to top Fond du Lac 38-28 on Saturday at Frank Vertin Field.
