Gach Named Mon-Dak Player of the Year; Kone & Broadway All-Conference
Sophomore guard Duoth Gach was named the Mon-Dak Conference Player of the Year as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning. Gach received 101 points, edging Dawson Community College sophomore Cameron Dunfee, who received 97 points.

With the honor, Gach becomes the sixth player to win Mon-Dak Conference MVP Stu Engen’s eight seasons, joining Melvin Newbern Jr. (2018), James Batemon III (2017), Julian Walters (2016), Johnny Woodard (2015) and Bretson McNeal (2013).
Gach (Austin, MN) averaged 21.4 points and 3.8 rebounds. He shot 53 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3-point range, knocking down a conference-best 62 triples.
Sophomore Mohamed Kone and freshman Khari Broadway were both selected to the second team.
Kone (Apple Valley, MN) averaged 10.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He shot 54% from the field and 38% from 3. Broadway (Brooklyn Park, MN) averaged 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
NDSCS finished the season 25-6. It was the ninth consecutive season the program has won at least 25 games.
