NJCAA announces updated plan of action

Following the recommendations from the NJCAA Presidential Advisory Council and the NJCAA Board of Regents, the NJCAA has announced its adjusted plan of action for the upcoming 2020-21 academic year. Following the Board of Regents' vote on Monday, a majority of competition will be moved to the spring semester.

Adam Jacobson takes over Wildcats WBB program

North Dakota State College of Science has named Adam Jacobson as its new women’s basketball head coach, taking over for the recently resigned Tom Dryburgh. A familiar name in North Dakota, Jacobson has been coaching within the state and region for more than a decade, with successful stops at University of Mary, University of North Dakota, University of Jamestown.

Cats Rout Malcolm X College to Advance to National Tournament

For the third time in the last four years, North Dakota State College of Science is heading to Texas for spring break. The Wildcats overcame an early deficit with a 24-5 run to end the first half, sinking Malcom X College 79-36 to win the North Central District championship and earn an automatic bid to the NJCAA Division One National Tournament.

NDSCS Women Earn No. 2 Seed in Region XIII Tournament

NDSCS women’s basketball capped the 2019-20 regular season with a 71-50 win over Dakota College at Bottineau. That win, coupled with a Miles CC loss to United Tribes, gave the Cats the No. 2 seed in the Region XIII Tournament and a first-round bye.
