Clair T. Blikre Activities Center

The Clair T. Blikre Activities Center at NDSCS is home to the Wildcat Athletics Department. Located within the Center are coach and staff offices, classrooms, multiple fitness facilities, the Ed Werre Arena, indoor pool and much more.

NOTE: Ed Werre Arena will be closed to walkers after 3 p.m. Monday-Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday due to safety concerns during athletic practices.

Wildcat Wellness Center

The Wildcat Wellness Center (cardio room) is located on the second floor and features quality equipment including: 5 Precor treadmills, 2 Assault AirRunner treadmills, 4 stationary bikes, 5 ellipticals, 1 air rower, 3 stair steppers, and two 75-inch televisions. The Wildcat Wellness Center is available to NDSCS students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Shorma Family Weight Room

The Shorma Family Weight Room is located on the first floor and features various strength equipment including: power racks, half racks, benches, free weights, dumbbells, Olympic lifting platforms, plyo boxes, medicine balls, stability balls, and more for individuals looking for a weight training focus.

Auxiliary Weight Room

The auxiliary weight room is located on the second floor across from the cardio room. In the auxiliary weight room, you will find various strength training machines along with some dumbbells and benches.

Indoor Swimming Pool

The 6 lane 25-yard indoor swimming pool features class options and free-swimming times available for Clair T. Blikre Activity Center members and the community.

The Ed Werre Arena

The Ed Werre Arena was named after Edward E. Werre, former instructor, coach and athletic director from 1949 to 1981. The facility is capable of hosting concerts, family shows, graduations, lyceums, craft shows, conventions and other programs. Seating capacity for the arena is in excess of 4,100.

Two full-court racquetball courts

Two full-court racquetball courts with observation viewing are located on the second level of the Clair T. Blikre Activities Center. Equipment use is available for free to members.

Beck Gymnasium

The practice gym offers extra space available for basketball, volleyball, NDSCS physical education classes and open gym time.
