Shanequa Schrouder

Bio

Schrouder is beginning her first season as an assistant coach for NDSCS Women's Basketball, serving under head coach Bryant Friskop. This is Schrouder's first college coaching role after concluding her playing career. She transferred to Florida Atlantic University for her Junior and senior year, where she appeared in every game for the Owls. She graduated from FAU with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. During her time at FAU, she played in all 60 games and started 41. Schrouder had great success in NJCAA, having spent the first two years of her collegiate playing career at Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, Fl. She earned first-team All-Mid Florida Conference honors after averaging 12.2 points and 5.5 rebounds in the past season, and was a two time selection to the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Region VIII team. Schrouder, an Orlando,Fl native, played for Apopka High School.
