Wildcats Finish Conference Play in Williston
Wildcats at Home Wednesday
The NDSCS Baseball team concluded their conference regular season out in Williston this past weekend. The Wildcats would win game two, but fell in the other three games.
Game one saw the Tetons score five runs in the third and fourth innings to give them a 5-0 lead. NDSCS would score their first run with Max Heen after a Trace King RBI. The Wildcats were held to only four hits in the game and ultimately fell 5-1 to Williston in game one.
The Wildcats got off to a good start in game two where they entered the seventh inning in a 5-5 tie game. The Wildcats would score two runs in the seventh while the Tetons only scored one giving the Wildcats a 7-6 victory. Cooper Klosterman got his first win of the season. Skyler Fields went 2-4 with three RBIs. Ryan Loewe added two RBIs for the 'Cats while NDSCS was able to steal a total of four bases. NDSCS scored seven runs on six hits and committed one error.
The Wildcats fell in game three by a score of 11-1. Max Heen had the only run and RBI when he hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.
The Wildcats fell in the final game by a score of 2-0. Masen Allmaras went 2-3 and Trace King also went 2-3. The Wildcats had five hits on the game and committed one error.
Next up for NDSCS will be two home games on Wednesday where the Wildcats will host Alexandria Technical and Community College. Game times are 1 PM and 3:30 PM.
