The NDSCS Men's Basketball team moved to 4-1 on the season after going undefeated at the American INN Classic this weekend.
In their first game of the weekend, the Lakers would face North Iowa Area CC (NIACC). The Wildcats would win over NIACC 87-68.
The Wildcats were led by Ben Fort. Fort would score 20 points and dish out 4 assists. Ja'Quan Ingram would add 16 points and Calvin Sisk would add 15 Points and 16 rebounds.
Conal Parnell added 11 points and Peyton Newbern chipped in 10 points with 8 assists.
NIACC was led by Marquel Newsome with 11 points.
In their second game of the weekend, the Wildcats would take on Jamestown College JV. The Wildcats won 94-46.
The Wildcats got an outstanding performance from Peyton Newbern who would have 16 points and 6 assists. Aaron Williams Jr. however, would lead the way with 18 points. Khalif Bettis would chip in with 17 points. Ja'Quan Ingram would add 15 points and 8 rebounds, with Conal Parnell adding 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Jimmies JV was led by Jackson Simmons with 8 points.
The Wildcats will next play at home Tuesday against Ridewater College. Following that, we will host the Baymont Inn Classic on Nov 17 (Minn North College-Hibbing @ 7 PM) and Nov. 18 (Western Iowa Tech @ 5 PM).
