Hot Shooting Leads NDSCS to Win at LRSC
Wildcats Shoot 16/31 (51.6%) From Three in Win
The NDSCS MBB picked up a big Mon-Dak road win up at Lake Region State College on Sunday. The Wildcats got off to a huge shooting first half going 12/19 from the three point line to give them a solid 52-41 advantage at the half. The second half, the men were able to fight off some runs by the Royals to hold steady and prevail with a 93-89 victory. The Wildcats shot 50% from the field, 51.6% from three, and 76.5% from the free throw line to get the victory.
The Wildcats were led by Shadmaan Khan with 17 points. Mikkel Cintron (14), Riley Wolf (13), Nidas Paulauskas (11), and Khalif Bettis (11).
The Wildcats now sit at 10-10 (3-2 Mon-Dak) as they prepare to head to Bismarck to face BSC and UTTC next Sunday and Monday.
