North Dakota State College of Science Coach Gach Gach has announced the hiring of Yberson Augustin to its men’s basketball staff,

Augustin brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience to the NDSCS Men’s Basketball program. A former Junior College basketball player in Region 9 led his team in scoring averaging 22.9 points per game. Prior to his time in the Junior college ranks Augustin was a two year starter at Village Academy Middle & High School, team captain and named Most Valuable player his senior year. After his time in juco he then transferred on to Central Baptist where his team made a national tournament appearance in (2018-2019) sn then moving on to play Semi Pro in the Florida Pro Basketball League.

After college, he then started his own brand called “YBworkouts” for personal training for basketball and fitness for all ages & levels. Also he started a new AAU basketball team for the Youth. Augustin's goal as a coach is to show the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle as well as installing core values and principles players will carry with them on and off the court. It is important to him to lead by example, and through personal fitness and basketball I have stayed physically active. "The unseen hours you put into your craft as a player or coach, the inner voice that tells you to keep going - keep pushing - this is my inner voice - and this drive is what I hope to inspire in those I coach". Augustin was involved in coaching middle school basketball in Florida. After a season, he was promoted to Head Coach for the Varsity basketball program at Village Academy Middle & High School where he is an alumni. "I'm thankful for Coach Gach Gach, giving me a call and adding me to his Wildcats coaching staff". I am excited to collaborate with the amazing coaches on the staff to help our men's basketball players grow each and every day.
