Stewart and Proulx Earn POW Honors

The Mon-Dak pitcher of the week is freshman right-hander Ella Stewart from North Dakota State College of Science.  Making 5 appearances last week she earned 1 win had an ERA of 1.31.  She pitched 10 2/3 innings, allowed 2 earned runs, scattered 7 hits, allowed 1 base-on-balls, and struck out 11.  Ella is from Prescott, Wisconsin and she attended Prescott High School.

The Mon-Dak player of the week is Blythe Proulx a freshman outfielder from North Dakota State College  of Science.  During games last week she made 21 plate appearances with a batting average of.529% (9-17), she had 5 doubles, 3 RBI's, scored 5 runs, 4 base-on-balls, and 2 stolen bases against very good non-conference competition in Iowa and Kansas.  Blythe is from Cloquet, Minnesota and she attended Cloquet High School.
