Wildcats Fall to Patrick & Henry
Play in Elimination Game at Noon Tomorrow
The NDSCS Wildcats Softball Team fell by a score of 0-3 to Patrick & Henry Community College. The Wildcats were able to get three hits and four walks, but were unable to get them across home plate.
Grace Folkema got the start for the 'Cats where she went 2.2 innings pitched with giving up three runs on two hits, seven walks, and six strikeouts. Ella Stewart pitched the final 4.1 innings where she gave up zero runs, two hits, zero walks, and had four strikeouts.
The Wildcats, in total, left seven batters left on base where they had three hits and four walks. Ava Howard, Meridith Frey, and Blythe Proulx each had a hit on the game.
The Wildcats will look to bounce back and make their way back to the National Championship series (against Patrick & Henry) when they play tomorrow at noon where their opponent will be determined later on today.
