NDSCS women’s basketball notches 66-51 road win over #20 Northeast
The NDSCS women’s basketball team jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the first quarter and shot 51% (25-of-49) from the field to cruise past #20 Northeast 66-51 on the road.

The NDSCS women's basketball team jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the first quarter and shot 51% (25-of-49) from the field to cruise past #20 Northeast 66-51 on the road.
Sophomore Kyla Adams, St. Paul, MN, and Freshman Mina Porte, Brooklyn Park, MN, led the way for the Wildcats each scoring 17 points. Adams was 7-of-9 from the field and 1-of-1 from the three point line and finished with a team high seven rebounds.
Additional top performers for the Wildcats were Sophomore Dayuna Johnson, Columbus, OH, who had 13 points and Freshman Olivia Bell, Aukland, NZ, who came off the bench finishing 3-of-5 from the field for eight points.
With this win, the Wildcats improve to 11-1 on the season.
Next, the Wildcats will host the Baymont Inn NDSCS Classic on December 1-2. First game is against Leech Lake with a tip-off time at 6 p.m.
