Women’s Basketball Ranked #25 Nationally!
The Week 10 Poll moved NDSCS from receiving votes to becoming nationally ranked for the first time this year. The Wildcats avenged their only conference loss last week by winning at Dawson 62-57.
They followed that performance with a trip to Bismarck State College in their first attempt to defend their national ranking. Bismarck had a late game push to make things interesting, but held strong in a gutsy performance to win 89-88.
The Wildcats held the lead the entire 40 minutes and were led by Quinn Neppl who had a career-high 25 points and Maile Hunt who had her season high 12 rebounds. The Cats look to continue to defend their #25 ranking on Thursday at home against Lake Region.
