Wildcats Women and Men Host RCTC and Anoka-Ramsey
Baymont Inn Classic at NDSCS
The NDSCS basketball teams both hosted RCTC and Anoka-Ramsey this weekend in their annual Baymont Inn Classic.
The (#23) NDSCS Women's Basketball team went 2-0 on the weekend to improve their record to 7-0.
NDSCS women defeated Rochester CTC by a score of 66-53 on Friday night. Maggie Westling led the way with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Demi Van Gils also put together 10 points and 5 rebounds. The Wildcats outrebounded the Yellowjackets 56-28.
NDSCS women then defeated Anoka-Ramsey by a score of 57-40 on Saturday night to move to 7-0. Westling led the way with 22 points and 16 rebounds (8 offensive). Ava Boyes had 9 points and 4 rebounds as well for the 'Cats.
The women will play on Saturday up in Thief River Falls, MN against Northland CTC.
The NDSCS Men's Basketball team dropped two games to both Rochester CTC and Anoka-Ramsey by the scores of 64-73 on Friday, and 82-89 on Saturday.
The NDSCS Men are sitting at 4-3 on the young season.
The Wildcat Men will next play on Wednesday where they travel to Fergus Falls to take on MSCTC.
