NDSCS Pick up Two Wins in Montana
Wildcats get wins over Miles and Dawson
The NDSCS Women's Basketball team picked up two road conference wins at Miles CC and at Dawson CC.
The Wildcats defeated Miles on Sunday by a score of 88-40. The Wildcats had six players in double figures led by Mckena Koolmo and Ava Boyes with 14 a piece. Ezrah Baker (12), Lolo Carlow (11), Idaira Martinez (10), and Hailey Markel (10) rounded out the even scoring attack from the Wildcats of players in double figures. The 'Cats shot 47.9% from the field including 39.1% from 3 and 78.6% from the free throw line. They also held Miles to 22.4% overall FG percentage including holding them to 10.3% from 3.
The Wildcats defeated Dawson on Monday by a score of 92-61. Ezrah Baker led the way with 21 points followed by Demi Van Gils, Ava Boyes, and Lolo Carlow with 13 points each. Mckena Koolmo added 10 points on the night as well as the Wildcats continued their balanced scoring attack. Ashleigh Kerr led the way on the glass with 10 rebounds.
Every player that suited up for the Wildcats got into the scoring column in both games.
The Wildcats sit at 13-4 (2-0 Mon-Dak) heading into this weekend's upcoming matchup with Williston State on Sunday at 1 PM. The Wildcats will face Dakota College at Bottineau on Monday at 5:30 PM.
