NDSCS Women Use Huge 4th Quarter Comeback to Win at LRSC

The NDSCS WBB team traveled to Devils Lake, ND to take on Lake Region State College.  Both teams came into the game with 4-0 records in the Mon-Dak.  It took the Wildcats a while to figure out the offensive side of the ball trailing 23-24 at halftime, and then 37-50 going into the 4th.  Lake Region got an early bucket in the 4th to make the game 37-52.  The Wildcats found a way to chip away possession after possession and found themselves taking the lead late in the game and holding onto that lead to prevail with a 59-56 win.  

The Wildcats were led by Maggie Westling who had 22 points (9/11 FG, 4/4 FT) and 15 rebounds to lead the 'Cats.  Mckena Koolmo added 12 points while Demi Van Gils added 13 rebounds for the 'Cats.

The Wildcats improve to 16-4 (5-0 Mon-Dak) and will play next Sunday and Monday in Bismarck, ND against BSC and UTTC.
