Wildcats defeat Royals 3-1
The first set was a set of runs seeing NDSCS get the first 3 points and LRSC take 10 of the next 13 in the set to put Lake Region up 10-5. Down 12-6, NDSCS put their foot on the gas and rattled off 9 of the next 10 points to put them up 15-13. The 'Cats would continue to cruise to 25-19 set one victory.
The second set saw the Wildcats get off to a much hotter start building a 13-6 lead early. The Royals fought back keeping the score close at 18-19. The Royals would take a late 20-19 lead and were able to hold onto a 25-23 set two victory to tie the match at 1 set apiece.
The third set was back and forth throughout the first part of the set seeing the Wildcats take a 12-8 lead. The Wildcats were in control the entire third set and took a 25-17.
The 'Cats got off to another good start in the fourth set forcing a Royals timeout at the 8-3 mark. NDSCS kept the pressure on with some massive swings building their lead up to 19-6 lead which would end up being the fourth and final set. NDSCS would win the fourth set 25-15.
The Wildcats move onto 14-2 on the season. Coach Jane Passa is now at 692 career wins.
