(From NDSCS):
This is Samantha Kohl's second Player of the Week honor this year. Kohl has been on a tear this year recording double-digit kills in 16 out of 18 matches that the Wildcats have played (both single digit matches were 9 kills). She's averaging 4.08 kills/set, and with her 16 kills last night against Miles CC, she moves into 5th all time at NDSCS in career kills passing Kerri Hemberger, from the 2001 and 2002 years, with 748. Chrissy Jacobs still holds the career kills record at NDSCS with 989 kills in the years 2001 and 2002. Kohl is 19 kills away from moving into 4th all time where Tanya Hensch sits with 766 career kills in the 2003 and 2004 years. Kohl is cementing herself as one of the all time greats in a storied NDSCS Volleyball program.
